RH Fan Art Lesson 7

This lesson is going to be simple, since it's Vegas time for me. :-) We're just going to do some simple animation.
Here are some pics you can use.

Open each picture in Paint Shop Pro. We're going to add text to them, and turn them into a sort of mini slideshow. For instance, on the first pic you could say Roger, next pic Howarth, and next pic Rocks. Here are the pics I did.

When you have the text ready, save each pic. Now we're going to open Animation Shop. Go to file, and find Jasc Software Products. Another little window comes up. Now click Launch Animation Shop.

Once it opens, go to file, and Animation Wizard. A window will pop up like this.

Select "Same size as first image frame" and click next. Select "transparent", and click next. Now select "upper left corner of the frame" and "with the canvas color". And click next. Now you can choose whether you want the animation to only play a certain number of times, or over and over. Select the one you want, and then select a number for how many frames per 1/100 of a second. The lower the number, the faster the animation will go. Now click next. Now you click the "add image" button to add your pics. You have to add them one at a time. Make sure you add them in order. And now click next. Now click finish. The pics will appear as frames. Now go up to the top bar, and click View, and then animation. Your animation will open, and you can see how it will look. If you don't like the speed, you can close the frames and start over with the Animation Wizard. Once you have it the way you want, go to File, and then save as. Now give it a name. It will save as a gif file. A window will pop up, and you can adjust the file size if you wish.

I usually just leave mine alone unless it is a big file. This isn't, so you can just click next. Now you see the progress. Once the little bars are filled, like this,

click next. It will show you a preview now. If you don't like how it looks you can click back, and adjust it some more. If you like it, click next. And now, click finish.
And you are done! Voila!

Great job!!
