While Todd was surrendering to Bo Buchanan, he was shot by another police officer, taken to the hospital and thank goodness, survived!! But now he was on his way back to prison with a whole new set of offenses to keep him there for a very long time......or so he and everyone else thought.......

Todd certainly thinks his life is worthless and over, who would care about him? He's surprised when his father, Peter, comes for a visit, but Peter is less than comforting, telling his son what a failure he is and he's sorry Todd was ever born. Todd wants Rebecca to have the trust fund his mother had left him, and makes Powell promise to deliver a letter to Rebecca. Just as Todd is contemplating taking a large dose of pills to end his miserable life, he gets a letter from CJ & Sara ..... Well he soon finds out he has a two grateful little people who are standing behind him and starting a campaign to free their Genie....Little CJ & Sarah Roberts tells the world that Todd should be set free. Rebecca, who has become closer with Powell, reads Todd's letter and cannot give up on him. She goes for a visit, giving Todd new hope she is there for him.

Todd is court ordered to attend therapy sessions ... he's a bit reluctant to participate, but eventually opens up to his therapist, Ray and begins to tell it like it is ... When things start looking better, Rebecca again visits him with a surprise ...
