Flashback #18: Todd's Return to Llanview after being shot in Ireland
After Todd & Blair's Golden Balloon Wedding, Todd went to Ireland as a favor to Marty. Marty had met a poet named Patrick Thornhart who was in trouble with "the Men of 21". Marty asked Todd to do her a favor and fly Patrick out of Ireland. Todd decided to help Marty and showed up at the Irish Swan, to help Patrick. Patrick thought Todd's plan was too risky, but Todd decided to take matters into his own hands..... The Men of 21 mistook Todd for Patrick and shot him in the back, put his body in the trunk of a car and pushed it over a cliff. The car crashed into an Irish sea far below. But.....all was not lost. Todd miraculously survived, was found and nursed back to health by a fisherman to one day return to his wife and baby he had left almost a year ago. His homecoming did not go as he dreamed...... |

Todd wanted to take Starr and leave town, so he kidnapped her and they were staying at Viki's cabin until Todd could make arrangements for them to leave the country. After Marty discovered he was hiding out at the cabin, he realized that a life on the run was no life for his baby daughter and he secretly returned Starr to Blair and later decided to finally reveal to Blair he was alive. |
