In this Lesson we will be
working with the image effect SEAMLESS TILING.
What you need to know; be able
to work resizing the images, inserting layers, there are more
than two layers. And how to write the text on your finish fan art.
Save the images that you wish to
use, and let's start.
Let's start by opening the image
you are going to use.
Then we will apply the effect
SEAMLESS TILING.
Because there is enough space empty on this wonderful screen cap
that TK donated to us, we can do the effect directly to the image.
Go to the menu on top of the page and click on Effects and then go
down to Image Effects then to Seamless Tiling.
I urge to play around with the
choices you are given, maybe you can find a different style of your
liking. Remember that anything you do can be undone with the UNDO
function.
Once I have the image to my
liking then I select a new image, you can find this by clicking
File - New. I choose black for background color. What size you
choose depends on what you want to make. If you want to make a
Wallpaper, then choose a bigger size. A
side note here, you should try to use a bigger image you can always
crop it at the end.
I then choose the image with RH by clicking
on it then I go to EDIT, then COPY. After that I choose the new
image with the black background by clicking on it. Then I go to
EDIT, PASTE, PASTE AS NEW LAYER. Then I should have the two images
in one.
Note, here we are working
with layers so make sure you have the right image selected before
doing anything with it.
To select a layer find the
Layer Palette and click on the right layer then work on it.
With the MOVE TOOL, that looks
like a cross, move the image around to where you find it more
to your liking. Once you do that then add some words to your
image and add an effect to the border.
